The backpack features two adjustable straps on the back that can be connected to shoulder straps or suspenders (shoulder straps and suspenders not included). In fact, this backpack was used with M1936 Suspenders during World War II, which is why the shoulder straps of the backpack itself are relatively thin. It has a small side pocket and a large back pocket, both closed with metal buttons. There are also two D rings on the bottom of the pack. If you have M1936 Suspenders, you can pass them through the D rings to secure the backpack.
