The Star blocks are specifically designed as a finishing or topcoat layer that should be applied over either a traditional or liquid paraffin. The blocks can either be crayoned directly to the ski and then roto-fleeced in, or applied to the fleece directly and then fleeced into the ski. It is best to keep the wax thickness very low so you can build up multiple layers.
