REP-SKEIB Resonator Saddles - Split Koa/Ebony Capped Blank

Customize the (spider or biscuit-bridge) resonator guitar sound with a Koa saddle for rich tone and the special warmth that only comes from natural Koa. Replogle Reso saddles in Koa bring the time-honored tone of this mystical hardwood from the Hawaiian Islands while providing the strength and volume of the normal maple saddle, but with added warmth and tone that only true Koa can deliver. The split koa/ebony cap configuration puts the plain koa under the plain strings to keep them even and not too bright, while the ebony cap on the saddle beneath the wound strings serves to brighten them up to match the plain strings, yielding a much more even and balanced sound. The saddle requires final trimming and slotting.
